With the qualification stage for the ITTF Challenge Thailand Open coming to an end, the Australian duo of Rohan Dhooria and Anthony Zhao were unable to get a win on the board. However, the pair were optimistic in defeat.

“It was a good learning experience! It’s also fantastic to see that we are still making friends after tough competition!” said Anthony Zhao.

Meanwhile, Australian junior representative Rohan Dhooria has his eyes firmly set on the future, with the Oceania region heading in to a busy month of competition.

“It was a tough tournament. But very worth coming. I have learned a lot of new tactics and strategies and I have found a new direction to improve my table tennis . Overall, it was a great experience and good preparation tournament before the Australian Junior and Cadet Open and ITTF-Oceania Junior Championships. I am thankful to my family, coaches and sponsors RBK and Affordable Table Tennis for giving me the opportunity to play in this event. I gave it my all.”
