ITTF-Oceania seeks High Performance Officer

ITTF-Oceania is the governing body for the sport of Table Tennis within the Oceania region, and is a continental federation affiliated to the International Table Tennis Federation. ITTF-Oceania has 24 member associations, and is the sport with the largest membership within the Oceania region.
The High Performance Officer is a newly created, full-time position following the approval of the 2017-2020 ITTF-Oceania Strategic Plan. ITTF-Oceania continues to develop the sport of table tennis following nearly two decades of strong grassroots development throughout the region, and is now placing further support to provide strong pathways for players, coaches, officials and administrators to transition from community to high performance.
This is a unique opportunity for a self-motivated person with specialised skills as indicated in the Job Description. The successful applicant will have relevant tertiary education, table tennis experience as a national team coach and/or player, and a passion for developing young athletes. Furthermore, it is anticipated that the High Performance Officer will spend significant periods of time traveling internationally and supporting the member associations by delivering or coordinating coaching courses and training camps. Therefore, the successful candidate will have a demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team. Fluency in French, experience working with athletes with a disability, and living/working in developing countries would be an advantage.
