Marenga Tua is ready for her first-ever World Cadet Challenge

The 2019 ITTF World Cadet Challenge is set to be held in Wladyslawowo, Poland from 23-31 October. Get to know Cook Island’s Marenga Tua before she takes on the world as a member of Team Oceania.

When and why did you first start playing table tennis? I started playing in 2015 when I was 10 at home because my older cousin played

Highlight from your table tennis journey? Qualifying for the Oceania Cadet team at the Oceania Junior Championships in Tonga

What are you excited about in Poland? Seeing new faces and making new friends

One thing you want to try in Poland? Food

Interesting fact about yourself? I play soccer and love to sing and dance and I can never stop smiling
