The World Masters Games got underway today in Auckland, New Zealand, with table tennis one of the 28 sports on offer.

The international multisport event is the largest in the world with 28,000 registered athletes, supporters and officials from 100 countries globally.

The table tennis divisions range from 30+ to 80+ years of age, with competitive and recreational classes,  and also include para events for wheelchair and standing categories.

There is also no charge for admission to any of the 48 competition venues and spectators are welcome. So if you’re in Auckland why not head out to the table tennis and catch some of the players in action.
