Trevor Hirth takes on the ITTF PTT Hungarian Open
March 17, 2017

The ITTF PTT Hungarian Open is underway today and Australia’s Trevor Hirth will be in action in the Men’s Singles Class 6.
“I’m spending five weeks in Europe by myself; it’s just me and the beard.” Trevor Hirth
Needless to say competing on Saint Patrick’s Day with that beard can only bring good luck.
With multiple ITTF PTT tournaments scheduled, Trevor has a clear goal in mind.
“The tournament counts towards my world ranking. The aim is to qualifying for next year’s Commonwealth Games on the Gold Coast.” Trevor Hirth
Trevor spent a week training at Borussia Dusseldorf in preparation for the event.
Group stages of the singles get underway today and will be played all the way through to the final.
Later in tournament Trevor will be competing in the teams, teaming up with France’s Esteban Herrault.
