The team events have wrapped up at the 2019 ITTF-Oceania Para Championships in Darwin, with the top seeds putting on a dominant display.

The  battle for the top of the Class 2-4 Teams went right down to the wire with Australia 2 narrowly edging out Australia 1. The opening doubles saw the combination of Jujian Chen and Caleb Crowden scraping a 13-11 fifth game win against Daniela Di Toro and Amanda Tscharke. Di Toro then found revenge in the next match, defeating Crowden 3-2 to send the clash to a decider. However, Chen proved too strong for Tscharke, taking the final match 3-0 to take the first place.

Australia 1 proved too strong in the Class 6-10 Men’s Teams. The combination of Joel Coughlan and Nathan Pellissier cruised to gold, winning all four of their encounters 2-0. New Zealand however was able to upset the seeding, winning 2-1 against Australia 2 to take the silver medal.

The combined team of Australia/Fiji took topped the Class 6-10 Women’s Teams, going undefeated. Australia 2 came away with silver while Solomon Islands rounded out the podium with bronze.
