The Pacific Sports Partnerships (PSP) is an Australian Government program funded by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade through the Australian Aid program. International Table Tennis Federation – Oceania (ITTF-Oceania) are supported through PSP to build the capacity of Pacific Table Tennis Federations (PTTFs) in the Pacific to conduct quality sport for development programs. Through the generous support from the Australian Government, ITTF-Oceania and Table Tennis Australia developed the Smash Down Barriers Table Tennis Disability Program.

The program currently operates in Fiji, Kiribati, Solomon Islands, Tonga and Vanuatu. The aims are to increase levels of regular participation in quality table tennis activities by people with disability and to increase opportunities and improved attitudes both by and towards people with a disability. ITTF-Oceania also works closely with National Disability Partner (NDP) networks and organisations and relevant Government ministries to deliver the program.
